Why Apple Watch is the ultimate device for a healthy life.

Apple Watch can do what your other devices can’t because it’s on your wrist. When you wear it, you get a fitness partner that measures all the ways you move, meaningful health insights, and a connection to the people and things you care about most. And it’s always just a glance away.

My first Apple Watch was purchased only two years ago. I was initially skeptical, primarily because I had previously used a Smartband and was wary of trusting any other brand. I watched a lot of videos about how accurate the Apple Watch's GPS is, how effective the Apple Watch workout app is, and so on. I definitely spent a lot of time researching the Apple Watch on YouTube.

Running Watch Review : Apple Series 6 is nailing it out.

I've had the Apple Watch Series 6 for a little more than two months and I'm very happy with it. The GPS, in my opinion, is incredibly accurate. I don't use the standard Apple Watch app to track my runs, though. I use a variety of apps to test and try accuracy.

My Favorite Features of the Apple Watch

Activity tracking is one of the Apple Watch's most important fitness features. It displays your movement in rings rather than counting steps (which the Apple Watch still does!). This tracking information is available on your watch and in the Activity app on your iPhone. According to recent studies, Apple Watch has a 51 percent global market share in the health and fitness category. That Basically means Apple Watch is the world's most popular smartwatch, selling every second.

Activity tracker in details Apple Series 6

  • Red Ring: The red outer ring of the Move ring keeps track of how many active calories you burn each day. It gives you an idea of how much you move around, whether it's just walking around your house or riding your bike for ten miles. You can change your target active calories to better reflect your goals or lifestyle, unlike the other rings below.
  • Green Ring: This green ring keeps track of any exercise you do on a daily basis. In this case, exercise is defined as any movement with an intensity equal to or greater than that of a brisk walk. The goal is to do 30 minutes of this type of activity every day, and you can't go lower or higher than that.
  • Blue Ring: One of the Most Ring in view of the physiotherapist. The Apple Watch does not want you to be sedentary, so it will remind you to get up and move for at least 12 hours each day. The watch will record that you stood up after a minute or more of movement. You don't have to work for those hours in a row, so if you sit at your desk and don't get up, you can make up for it later.
Daily coaching is also available on the Apple Watch to encourage you to close your rings. Throughout the day, you'll receive notifications encouraging you to get up and move around, as well as ones assisting you in finishing your exercise ring.

When you close a ring, you'll receive a notification as well as a fun animation to honor your accomplishment. When you close all of your rings, the same thing happens. You can turn off coaching and goal completion notifications in the Activity app on your iPhone if you don't want them.

Why Apple Watch is the ultimate device for a healthy life.

Workout Tracking features on the Apple Watch are saviors in Gym/Workout.

The Apple Watch can track your workouts and display stats in real-time, whether you run, walk, swim, row, hike, or do yoga. For most workouts, this means displaying the amount of time elapsed, the distance traveled, the pace, the heart rate, and the number of calories burned.

There are a few additional metrics the Apple Watch can show you if you're running. Pace Alert allows you to set the desired pace, and if you go too fast or too slow, the watch will tap your wrist (using haptic feedback).

You can start a workout manually by opening the Workout app and selecting one of the 32 options featuring in the new Apple series 6.
  • Walking
  • Running
  • Cycling
  • Elliptical
  • Rower
  • Stair stepper
  • HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)
  • Hiking
  • Yoga
  • Swimming
  • Wheelchair

Apple watch is Really Smart With, Automatic Workout Detection

When the Apple Watch detects that you are about to begin a workout, it will send you an alert asking if you want it to begin tracking. You can choose your workout type and go beyond a session by responding to that notification.

Best of all, if you skip a few minutes before starting to track your workout, Apple Watch will credit you for it retroactively. If you forget to stop tracking after your workout, the Apple Watch will detect this and stop it automatically.

Be Active among friends with Compete with Friends feature.

Having an accountability partner is one of the best things you can do for your own fitness. Someone who encourages you or pushes you to work harder than they do. You can enter weekly competitions with your friends, track their progress, and see how your activity compares to theirs.

You cant skip a Beat anymore with Heart Health Feature.

Heart rate monitor

The Apple Watch Series 1 and all newer models have a sensor on the back of the watch that can measure your heart rate. The Apple Watch can take your heart rate on demand by opening the Heart Rate app, but it also takes measurements throughout the day to get your average resting and walking heart rates. You can also see your heart rate on the screen during a workout.

Apple Watch ECG

The Apple Watch Series 4 has received FDA approval to perform electrocardiograms, also known as EKGs or ECGs. Electrodes are located on the watch's back and in the digital crown. The watch will measure your heart's electrical pulses by pressing your finger to the crown while the watch is on your wrist.

It will then tell you whether your heart is in a "normal" sinus rhythm or if atrial fibrillation is present (AFib). AFib is a type of abnormal heart rhythm that should be reported to your doctor because it can lead to life-threatening complications like stroke or heart failure.

For balance deficit and old age Population, fall detection is Virtue

Falls are a major source of concern for senior citizens and anyone with mobility issues. But, move over, Life Alert: the Apple Watch can now confront assistance if you fall and can't get up.

If you fall while wearing the Apple Watch Series 4, it will sound an alarm, tap your wrist, and ask if you are okay. After about a minute, if you don't respond or move, the watch will sound another alarm and begin a 30-second countdown. Following that countdown, the watch will contact emergency services and then send a message to your emergency contacts informing them of the situation.

Improve Breathing with Apple Watch

The Breathe app on the Apple Watch encourages you to take a few minutes out of your day to relax by taking a few deep breaths.

The revolutionary Blood Oxygen feature provides users with even more information about their overall health.

“Apple Watch Series 6 completely redefines what a watch can do,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer. “With powerful new features, including a Blood Oxygen sensor and app, Apple Watch becomes even more indispensable by providing further insight into overall well-being.”
The Apple Watch Series 6 adds to previous Apple Watch models' health features with a new feature that conveniently measures the oxygen saturation of the user's blood, allowing them to better understand their overall fitness and wellness.
Recently Due to the COVID situation Pulse oximeter is highly in demand and such a useful feature on the go version is quite useful.

What is Anatomical pulley? Example of Anatomical pulley

Understanding the Importance of Anatomical Pulleys in Physiotherapy As a physiotherapy student, it is essential to have a good understanding of the human body's anatomy and how it works. One of the essential structures in the body that plays a significant role in movement and biomechanics is the anatomical pulley. In this article, we will explore what an anatomical pulley is, its types, and its importance in physiotherapy. What is an Anatomical Pulley? A pulley is a simple mechanical machine that consists of a wheel that turns readily on the axle, usually grooved for a rope or a wire cable. In the human body, the pulley is replaced by a bone, cartilage, or ligament, and the cord is replaced by a muscle tendon. The tendon is lubricated by synovial fluid, and the surface of the tendon is covered by a thin visceral synovial membrane. The tendon is lubricated so that it may easily slide over the pulley. Classification of Anatomical Pulleys There are mainly four classes of pulleys

Range of Muscle work in Physiotherapy

The degree of the movement done by muscle contraction is known as the Range of muscle work. The range can be measured with the help of a goniometer. Movement is a very complex mechanism, a lot of muscles are working in a group and in synchronized pattern to draw out the perfect desirable movement. As per function we already talked about Agonist, antagonist, Synergist, and fixator muscles.
